Our most popular tour takes you around the back of Table Mountain, through the lush, green Constantia valley to the coastline of False Bay and its many individual villages. We may call at Kalk Bay harbour with its colourful fishing boats and seals and then reach the pretty village of Simon’s Town, where we’ll visit the famous colony of African penguins at Boulders Beach. From there, we’ll head to the spectacular cliffs of Cape Point and the most South-Western tip of Africa at the Cape of Good Hope, once known as the Cape of Storms.
The route back to the city will take us along the wilder Atlantic coastline through Kommetjie to Noordhoek. Coming down from the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive, we pass beautiful Hout Bay and approach the city with the Twelve Apostles mountains on our right and, ahead of us, bustling Camps Bay with the Table Mountain Cableway above us.
Duration: 6–8 hours.
“Thank you… We were honoured by both your kindness and your courtesy.” Scott and Nick, Harbour Lodge Guest House, Hout Bay
